If you cannot find a t-shirt or hoodie you like, or want to personalise an item as a gift then I would highly recommend using Spread Sheet.
All you need to do is choose the item that you want to personalise and then upload a picture, and add any text. The picture needs to be high resolution so it comes out properly.
