Category : Band Profiles

Alkaline Trio are the American trio who have been around for years but still manage to make fresh and catchy music.

The band consists of Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Andriano (bass) and Derek Grant (drums) and was formed in 1996. They released albums Goddamnit in 1998 and Maybe I’ll Catch Fire in 2000, as well as Alkaline Trio, a compilation of some of their earlier eps.

From Here to Infirmary was released in 2001 – this album contained their breakthrough single Stupid Kid. Good Mourning was released in 2003 and Crimson was released in 2005, which included the awesome single Burn. Remains, which is a collection of b-sides and rarities was released in 2007. The band released a remasted edition of Goddamnit in March this year to celebrate its ten year anniversary.

Alkaline Trio are currently working on their latest album which is due to be released in the summer – and we at Other Clothing just know it’s gonna be a good ‘un!
