Reef Scandals

Reef was created by two Argentinian brothers, Fernando and Santiago Aguerre. In the 1970’s they opened their own surf shop in Argentina, but Reef began when they moved to the San Diego beach community of La Jolla, California in the 1980’s.

Reef scandals are a brand of casual flip flops which grew from a band of loyal customers into a global brand. Initially they were marketed for surfers and beachwear, but the success have pushed them into the skateboarding, snowboarding and mainstream fashion scene.

Reef have expanded into clothing with their logo program.
