Odessa
Odessa Footwear is an English brand based in the South West of England who specialise in skate footwear for both men and women. An Odessa clothing range is soon to be introduced; however, footwear is currently the sole product available under the Odessa brand name. The women’s skate shoes are modelled in such a way that they fit the female foot in a much better manner than the men’s shoes would on a woman. This means that women skaters can get the very best skating experience that they can with properly fitted shoes rather than wearing shoes designed for male feet and receiving a mediocre skating experience as a result.
The Odessa brand features shoes of varying colours, from bright, almost neon, colours to duller, more subdued shades. The shapes and types of shoe range from ‘normal’ trainer type shoes to high tops. Many of the shoes feature artistic designs on the side and most have laces of a contrasting colour to the shoe itself.
The materials used in the uppers of the shoes vary between the different types and designs of the shoes from suede to leather. The soles of the shoes also differ, some constructed from just rubber and some containing an air cushion or other technology designed to make the shoes more comfortable.
