Gnarls Barkley – Band Profile

Gnarls Barkley

Cast your mind back to 2006 – when a unheard of band called Gnarls Barkley stayed at the top of the UK charts for a whole nine weeks with debut hit Crazy. They have just released their second album and seem to be going from strength to strength.

Gnarls Barkley consists of musician and producer Dangermouse and singer Cee-Lo Green. They met in 2003 and started collaberating together – with a lot of the songs making it onto their first album St. Elsewhere. Singles released from this album included Crazy, Smiley Faces and Gone Daddy Gone.

The Odd Couple was released on the 25 March this year, a week earlier than anticipated due to the album being leaked on the internet.

The band love dressing up, be it for interviews or live appearances. They have appeared on stage as chefs, doctors, schoolboys and even as characters from the Wizard of Oz!

Gnarls Barkley have released two albums: St. Elsewhere (2006) and The Odd Couple (2008).
