I do get this question asked quite alot.
Simply put, a Goth is “a fan of gothic music” (a rock-and-roll subgenre that emerged out of the late-1970s punk scene). In general, Goths wear lots of black clothing, favour pale skin and sport black lipstick. They are drawn to the darker aspects of human existence such as death, romance, feelings of loneliness and isolation.
However there are many time such as CyberGoths, Rivet-Heads, Romantigoths, and Goth-a-billies (not actually sure what they are?).
Then of course what do all these different Goths wear??
