Lightspeed Champion is Dev Hynes, who used to be in art rock band Test Icicles before the band split in 2006.
Tell me what it’s worth is a big chunky slice of guitar pop, with soaring female vocals and happy twinkly guitars. The song is quite slow to begin with, but it starts to speed up a minute in and sounds very brit-poppy. This is a very cheery song and I’m quite looking forward to hearing the rest of recent album Falling Off the Lavender Bridge.
