Michelle blogs:
George at Asda is the best value for money fashion range around and has the advantage of having a petite section for us shorter individuals.
Most brands that support the smaller adult charge a premium but George doesn’t, just great!

Karen blogs:

I am not normally a dress person. If I had it my way I would live in denim minis and skinny jeans every day, but for my 21st I wanted something special. I went all round the shops on many trips with no luck until one rainy saturday I spotted the perfect dress in the window of Monsoon.
Monsoon knows what it is doing when it comes to formal wear. The dress I purchased was the Jessica Beaded dress. As soon as I slipped it on in the fitting room I felt like princess. I loved the feel of the 100% silk fabric and couldnt help but twirl round due to the layers of netted underskirt. In the lovely fitting rooms the sales assistants were very happy to fetch me a pair of Monsoon’s gorgeous heals to give it the full effect.
Initially my eyes were drawn to it because it was a classic black formal dress with a twist which i suppose is just like me. I loved the modern feel given to it by the pink and black belt. I also loved the beaded detail at the very top of the dress adds a bit of extra glamour to whole look and means I don’t need to splash out on lots of accessories.
It was £110 which is a little over my budget, but i felt it was worth spending the extra cash for this dress due to the quality, the style and most importantly the way it made me feel. Now I cant wait to wear it out instead of just posing infront of my bedroom mirror in it.

Claire blogs:
I thought Laura Ashley was all about long dresses with flowery prints, floaty tops etc. More for young country girls to wear with big hats and flat shoes. So I was surprised when I looked in the window of their Inverness shop to see a cord skirt.
It is brown background with gold and red pattern. Fitted at the top and swirling out to just knee length. The price was surprising. I always thought of Laura Ashley as an expensive shop - have never bought anything from there before. But this was in my budget at just under £50. Just had to try it on and it even fitted perfectly
