Hurley

June 21st, 2007 by Fashion Victim

Hurley is a California based clothing company founded by Bob Hurley.

Hurley ClothingTheir clothes are influenced by skateboarding, surf, skate music, and art. Hurley is not just another skate brand, they have a different approach. For them it was not just about having fun with surf, skate and snow but about having integrity and respect. As a result of this philosophy they were one of the first companies to look outside their safe world and embrace musicians and artists.

Hurley ClothingThis free thinking was picked up by pop-punk bands, especially blink-182 who wore Hurley clothing. This led to a huge demand in the brand from the punk and emo subcultures.

Hurley has always used themes to express the core beliefs of the company, examples are ‘Freedom of Choice’, ‘The Future is Unwritten’ and ‘Enjoy’ the message is clear…come on in.
